“Snowman & The Red Thread” & Polaris Junior Company Auditions
SAVE THE DATE: “Snowman & The Red Thread” & Polaris Junior Company Auditions are coming up on August 12th!
Polaris is seeking male and female dancers to perform with its newly created Junior Company. This pre-professional company will launch again in conjunction with our September 2012 Fall Term. Company members will be required to attend a weekly company class as well as weekly rehearsals in preparation for an annual performance. (Performance dates and weekly class and rehearsal schedule to be announced)
Polaris Dance Theatre’s Artistic Director Robert Guitron and Rehearsal Director M’Liss Stephenson will give the Polaris Junior Company audition. We are looking for dancers age 13 and over who have experience in a variety of dance disciplines including ballet, contemporary, aerial and jazz and who are considering a career in dance. The Polaris Junior Company will offer young dancers a chance to experience the demands of rehearsing and performing in a professional environment while continuing to strengthen their technique.
